Brent crude trading at $76.84/bbl

Crude oil futures declined 0.8 per cent to Rs5,969 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.

On MCX, crude oil for December delivery fell Rs48 or 0.8 per cent to Rs5,969 per barrel with a business volume of 8,712 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil traded 0.38 per cent higher at $71.85 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading up 0.30 per cent at $76.84 per barrel in New York.
